Presenting Your Images.


To be able to present your photos you must ensure that you have good clear sound pictures,You must remember that presenting your pictures is a critical part of your work and for everyone to see and judge!
There are many ways to present your photos but you may feel that you wish to adjust them before you display them you can do this by editing.

Lots of editing techniques can be used depending on the effect of the photo that you require, these can range from:

Cropping- Changing the Photo into a different format/size, this can be done manually or using the pre set sizes.
Tuning-Adjust the light, highlight, shadow and colour effect in the photo.
Effects- Change the photo into a black and white print, sepia.
Sharpening-Add more definition to the lines in the Photo.
Lighten/Darken.
Digital Manipulation-Using various programmes such as Photo shop to change your Image.

Presenting.

Portfolios.


These can be of various sizes by editing a range of about 50 shots down to around 20 putting a good photo at the start and working through a various range, ending up with the best at the end so that the veiwer has this fantasic shot to leave with.


Boxed Prints.

A beautiful collection of choosen prints collecting in a keepsake box, The unexpected excitment of wondering what is in the box then the opening and looking through the Prints.Various Boxes can be used even themed to go alongside the pictures themselves.


Books.

These books show a variety of your Pictures, these can be made on computer programme such as Blurb, Photo box, Vista print or they can be hand made, hand printed then bound.

Framed Prints.
A selection of framed prints that could be exhibited in various places, these can be themed or just random depending on the exhibition, these would be the very best Pictures,  printed and framed to the highest quality, you dont know who will see them!

Post cards. 

Your images can made made into postcards and displayed.

 

Prints.
These are your images printed and displayed as such or sold these are unframed and should be on the highest quality paper.


Website.
Having your own website would be a very valuble tool in Promoting, advertising and selling yourself and your pictures,
It will launch you world wide giving you greater oppertunities for a wider audience.
